Entry into the real estate profession takes preparation. As with other professions, licensing is required. Licensing requirements and costs generally range between $1,000-$2,000 for start-up costs, such as pre-licensing classes, the state licensing exam, and the local real estate association membership.
We also recommended that you enter the business with enough cash flow to cover your short-term living expenses and be able to invest in personal promotion and advertising.
